1. Washing your face too many times: Most people are under the impression that cleansing your face more often can lead to a clearer and healthier complexion. But too much of a good thing can end up being bad. In fact, the black substance in blackheads has nothing to do with dirt and is simply a pore clogged with a bit of oil that’s open to the air – oxidation turns it black. While washing your face a couple of times a day may help loosen blackheads and unclog your pores, you should not do it too often.
