What’s Star Shelter & Why It Matters
Star Shelter provides a safe temporary refuge for women and children survivors of family violence regardless of race, language, creed or religion. It is a place where they can heal from the trauma of abuse. They empower survivors to regain control of their lives by providing safe accommodation, clothing, and food, while also addressing their emotional well-being through therapy and educational programs.
Their support has helped nearly 2,000 survivors of women and children to rebuild their lives free from violence, fostering independence and resilience.
